As each toddler reaches the age of 24 months and indicates signs of readiness, they will begin the transition into the toddler program with a ratio of 1:7.  Our toddler teachers understand the big changes that begin to occur for your child as they become toddlers.  More self-help skills are being learned, they are being potty trained and they are beginning to develop relationships with their peers.  The teachers are sensitive to these changes.  Montessori materials such as sensorial and practical life will be a large part of the focus as the learn while they play.  Arts and crafts will continue to be an important part of their experience, as well.  The toddlers will be spending time outdoors year around.  A monthly calendar is provided to parents that shows the various activities and topics that will be covered.
